Microsoft is reportedly developing a 360-degree video game visualization tool.
The company, according to a post on the Microsoft Developer Blog, is working with the Motion Pictures Association of America to create the tool, which it says is a “game-ready tool” for “creating immersive visual experiences.”
Microsoft says it is developing the tool with a team of “visual artist, animator, and game developer professionals” and that it will launch the tool later this year.
It is not clear whether the tool will include 360-video-game-like effects.
Microsoft previously unveiled a 360 visualization tool called “Wheels” last year, but it did not include any 360-game features.
