Microsoft says the Xbox 360 will be available to purchase in stores in the first half of October, and retail availability will begin in November.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the Xbox is an “exciting opportunity for our customers” and it’s important to offer the best possible experience for them.
The company also plans to offer Xbox 360 in a variety of languages, including English and Japanese.

The accounts will allow users to download games from Xbox Live and play with friends online.
The company said Xbox Live will also have more than 2 million Xbox Live gold accounts available for gamers in the coming months.
Microsoft will also roll out Xbox Live Arcade games to gamers across the U and Canada in early 2016.
The new Xbox console is Microsoft’s first new console in almost five years.
The Xbox 360 launched last September and has been a favorite of gamers for its attractive design and powerful performance.
Microsoft sold more than 3.2 million Xbox 360s globally in its first year of sales.
Microsoft is also launching a new version of Windows called Windows 10.
Microsoft is aiming to roll out the new operating system in the second half of the year.
Microsoft announced its new Xbox and Windows 10 consoles at the Consumer Electronics Show last month.
